BH250-2 is a high-grade metamorphic rock composed of garnet, orthopyroxene, and clinopyroxene. The pyroxenes exhibit wavy extinction, indicating deformation under ductile conditions. Based on its mineral assemblage, this rock has reached granulite facies, suggesting formation at high temperatures and moderate to high pressures. It likely represents deep crustal rocks that were metamorphosed during continental collision or crustal thickening.

Alternatively, due to the dominance of garnet and pyroxenes and the absence of felsic minerals, BH250-2 may also be classified as a garnet pyroxenite, a mafic to ultramafic rock type commonly associated with deep-seated metamorphic or mantle-derived processes.</text>
