BH250-64
Title
BH250-64
Subject
Turbidite
Description
BH250-64 is interpreted as a turbidite sequence collected from an outcrop along Highway 77 in northern Minnesota—a well-known stop for geologists. The rock displays finely laminated, carbonate-rich beds interspersed with numerous minor faults, indicating post-depositional deformation. Large-format thin sections were prepared from this sample and will need to be located for further study.
